Contract Seminars

SFPE offers seminars throughout the world. SFPE seminars are a cost-effective solution that deliver the classroom learning experience to your organization and eliminates travel and hotel expenses. It is often the most affordable and convenient way to train a team of people. Seminars are scheduled when it is convenient for you (see schedule). We will send all of the seminar materials necessary for the class to you and our experienced instructors will quickly establish an effective classroom setting conducive to learning at your site. In addition to providing high quality training for the attendees, your will also receive the following benefits.

Instructors

SFPE is always seeking new and qualified instructors. If you are interested in being an approved SFPE instructor, complete and return this form.

Licensure

Professional engineers who are licensed are required to maintain that licensure. Depending on the state of licensure, a certain number of continuing education/professional development hours are required to keep an active license to practice. For continuing education/professional development hours to be accepted by the licensure boards, they should be from an accredited provider such as AIA and eventually IACET (SFPE is in the process of becoming an IACET-accredited provider of continuing education).

IACET

ANSI/IACET is a universally accepted model for continuing education, nationally and internationally. IACET maintains an internationally recognized standard for continuing education and training. Credit earned under IACET’s accreditation are accepted as PDH’s for ongoing maintenance of licensure.

AIA

SFPE is currently a registered AIA Continuing Education Provider (Provider # G219). AIA credits are accepted by state licensure boards for credits toward ongoing maintenance licensure.

ICC

SFPE is an ICC Preferred Provide members of ICC who take SFPE registered courses are able to submit their credits to ICC.
