Tier 1 dues are $215 USD annually.
Tier 2 dues are $107.50 USD annually. Members residing in the following countries are eligible for the Tier 2 dues rate.
The list above includes developing countries - defined according to the Gross National Income (GNI) per capital per year. Developing Countries are defined as a GNI of $11,905 US and less by the World Bank. Countries included by SFPE for reduced membership are all countries except those classified by the World Bank as "high income."
** Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan are not included.
A Recent Graduate is defined as a person who was previously qualified as a Student Member of SFPE and who has graduated from an undergraduate degree program, master's degree program or Ph.D. program within six months of entering the workforce. Recent Graduates dues shall apply for a maximum of three years following graduation before upgrading to the full dues rate.
The recent graduate discount rate is $75 USD. To qualify for this discount, graduates must supply proof of graduation via diploma and/or transcripts.
To be eligible for Retired status, individuals in the grade of Fellow, Professional Member or Member a) shall have retired from ALL professional income producing activity AND b) shall have had at least 10 years continuous membership except Student Member immediately preceding the attainment of Retired status AND c) be 67 years of age or older. The retired discount rate is $75 USD.
An SFPE member shall become eligible for Life Member due's status if he/she has been a paying member of SFPE for 40 years and is at least 67 years of age. A Life Member retains all voting and other privileges and pays annual fees commensurate with those of a Retired Member. Member must submit request for Life Membership.
